No prizes for guessing the direction of conversation when owner Mark Marle and his mates sat down with a few drinks to decide on a name for his restaurant. That said, the quality of this establishment is evident as soon as you step in the door. The ultra-modern setting is a clever contrast of dark, earthy tones and rich reds, which invite a feeling of sophistication and class. The seafood/mod-Oz menu continues the theme of excellence and you can actually see the chefs at work as they ply their trade for you. A seafood platter for two has all the indulgences, including Moreton Bay bugs. Another strong recommendation of Mark's is the braised lamb shanks matched with a Wirra Wirra Churchblock red. The attached bar, manned by experienced bartenders, is ideal for a pre-dinner cocktail or two - or to continue the party after your meal.
